Private Label Lighting Packaging Checklist
A practical checklist for retail boxes, neutral cartons, installation manuals, warning labels, barcodes, and pallet plans.

Choose packaging by sales channel
Retail shelves usually need printed boxes and clear product labels. Contractor and distributor channels often prefer neutral cartons, barcode labels, installation manuals, and stronger internal protection.
- Retail: printed box, product label, manual, barcode, and display-ready copy
- Distributor: neutral carton, SKU label, wattage/CCT marks, pallet packing
- Project delivery: room code, fixture length, mounting kit, and installation grouping
Prepare compliance text with the fixture
Lighting packaging often needs electrical ratings, input voltage, wattage, CCT, warning statements, country of origin, and certification marks. These should match the product label and manual.
- Logo artwork in AI, PDF, SVG, or high-resolution PNG
- Barcode, model number, voltage, wattage, CCT, and batch code requirements
- Manual language, wiring diagram, mounting steps, and safety statements
Check the full packed unit
Before bulk shipment, confirm the fixture, accessories, screws, driver, manual, labels, carton drop protection, and pallet dimensions. This reduces site-level missing-part issues.
